We loved the styling of the kids birthday party. Photographing this party in a candid way was lots of fun. The jungle and animal birthday party theme was perfect for the little one and lots of effort went into it. A 1st birthday is something special and it’s also a great opportunity to combine it with a quick family photo shoot when you plan enough time before the event. We photographed this birthday party in a scout hall in the Melbourne east – a wonderful location with lots of space for the kids to run around.

The impressive styling of this party deserved lots of beautiful images. Zebras, Giraffes, Elephants and Tigers made an appearance. Balloons and toy boxes, soft toys and some rustic wood. Lots of different lollies and sweets – all colour coordinated in earthy tones with black and white – super stylish. An amazing birthday cake (who messed up the Nutella?).
We usually photograph lots of corporate and commercial events with a big team of event organisers and stylists. This private party is easily up there with the professional styling of an event planner.
The kids enjoyed themselves with lots of games and fun. Pizza and Sushi was a great solution for the catering and enjoyed by everyone.
