Melbourne has some impressive old building, not as old as the ones in Europe, but still quite stunning. One of those buildings is Werribee Mansion, just 30 minutes out of Melbourne’s CBD. This wedding venue is attractive for couples who are after a bit of European style and luxury within Melbourne. Even though Werribee Mansion’s manicured lawns provide a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photography, the Werribee Mansion House itself is not to be missed.

Each section of the Werribee Mansion House is photo worthy. There’s a lovely staircase which leads to the second floor, with a large arch window at the top of the first flight. The second floor is a beautiful Victorian room which leads out onto a large balcony which overlooks the garden. Spend a few moments there, maybe practise your wedding waltz.
The Mansion Hotel and Spa is a luxurious boutique hotel, offering plenty of rooms for those wedding guests who don’t want to travel after a great night of celebrations. There’s a variety of spa and beauty treatments on offer to help the bride and her bridesmaids prepare for the day.
On a dry and mild night, the party moves outside. You can dance the night away under the twinkling stars. If you listen hard enough, you may hear the sounds of the animals in the zoo nearby.
