TOP 100 MELBOURNE WEDDING VENUES
Melbourne is a wonderful city for wedding photographers. We have so many different types of wedding venues in and around our beautiful city that it is hard to select the best wedding venue.
Top 100 Melbourne wedding venues – the top list
You get nearly everything what you could imagine – Melbourne wedding venues come in a great variety. Luxurious wedding venues to vintage barns – luxury yachts to quaint cafes or art galleries. Melbourne beaches There is a wedding venue for everyone. As Melbourne wedding photographers we see lots of wonderful wedding venues in our city and even we discover every month a few new ones.
Not only the best – but the most unique and special wedding venues in Melbourne
We don’t want to just show the best wedding venues in Melbourne – we want to give you a wide variety of different options. There are so many unique and special venues here in Melbourne that we can only scratch on the surface.
It doesn’t even need to be a special wedding venue – think about a boat on the Yarra, a small local cafe or the restaurant where you had your first date (wouldn’t that be much more meaningful).
There are stylish restaurant locations in the middle of the Melbourne CBD, farms just outside of Melbourne, vineyards in the Yarra Valley, beach bars at the beach in the Port Phillip bay, rooftop terraces, luxury penthouses in hotels, boathouses at the Yarra river or maybe a barn on the Mornington Peninsula. There is a wedding venue for everyone.
Your Melbourne wedding venue
Please be aware that this list can’t be complete and will never be complete – let us know in the comments or via email when you think we missed a wonderful wedding venue and it deserves to be in this list.
There will be lots of insider tips and the best wedding venue is the one which suits you the most – there is not better and bigger – just better suited for your style of wedding. Our list is also not a ranking – see it as a little inspiration to find a wedding venue in Melbourne.
There are so many venues and we are not a big fan of a Top10 or Top100 list. But we need to start somewhere – there are far more Melbourne Wedding Function venues around and a list can never be complete. For a small wedding you could try to book any small cafe or restaurant – many have function rooms or even try to rent out the full venue for the night. Or even just organise some empty space on a field, beach or in the forest … think outside the box.
There are lots of venues which specialise in weddings and even offer locations for the ceremony. This could be ideal as your wedding guests can get full catering at the place and no transport and travel is necessary. On the other side it’s also great to have a variety of locations which suit your wedding. There is no right or wrong. You will find a wedding venue which suits you.
