Last Saturday we went to Warrandyte market to buy some flowers for wedding photoshoot on the next day. It is a really nice market in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Held every first saturday of the months (except January). Great food – amazing artwork and antiques – crafty stuff – plants and flowers and much more – you have to see it. Music performances throughout the market and a lot of places to rest make it a great place to visit on the weekend.
And don’t forget the Warrandyte state park around the corner. Beautiful walks along the yarra, the goldfields or even walk up to Mount Lofty (where will have a wedding shoot tomorrow). You might be lucky and spot a few kangaroos or even a wombat. Who would have thought that you can see wild kangaroos so close to Melbourne.
